It's the best. Back in the day, I wore merino wool shorts and jerseys even in the summer, as they work well regulating body heat in all conditions. When I lived in Wyoming, I had a similar cold weather routine as you follow in Minnesota. Nice write up. And thanks for ringing in on Limes' shout out for me at Boulevard!Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11938379025774754317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33734477.post-83434337994994314812010-02-09T21:46:54.716-06:002010-02-09T21:46:54.716-06:00Joboo - Glad you liked it. I try to support the local shops but when they simply don't carry something I need, I'm all about getting it online, usually for a pretty good discount.WheelDancerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15219805760534549996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33734477.post-69242394082971650112010-02-08T22:28:16.820-06:002010-02-08T22:28:16.820-06:00WD,

When it's really cold and/or nasty, I also carry a thick wool vest along to make sure I can keep my core warm.WheelDancerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15219805760534549996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33734477.post-53607362780319748482010-02-08T09:35:19.207-06:002010-02-08T09:35:19.207-06:00My trouble is that it's usually much colder in...My trouble is that it's usually much colder in the morning when I start off than it is in the evening ride home. It can be tricky to balance between too little (and shivering) or too much (and sweating). Do you carry all these layers with you just in case? The Merryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09660495393832517684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33734477.post-51623641458250031682010-02-06T15:40:48.698-06:002010-02-06T15:40:48.698-06:00WD, I know you're following the Badger's r...WD, I know you're following the Badger's race this weekend. I just posted an update on his behalf that you might enjoy. It is a wild and woolly one! He really enjoyed your poetry contribution and he'll have something to say to you directly about that when he can finally communicate with the rest of the world.Leslie Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15702472429383639709noreply@blogger.com
